Hi,
E-mail is becoming more than communication and incorporates itself in many different areas of the online world. Because of this you want the best to ensure that not only can you organise the e-mails easily and efficiently but also ensure that you have other features that are easily accessible.
Here are a collection of five great e-mail providers:
- Google Mail – One of the new contenders, originally it was invite only. Quickly becoming one of the major e-mail providers it boast features that you’d normally have to pay for. It has a lot of features such as built-in chat boxes, lots of productivity tools and the increasing storage space which combined together makes it one of the fastest growing e-mail providers.
- Windows Live Hotmail - Previously called ‘Hotmail’ it is the largest e-mail service provider. In recent years they have improved their spam filter and that combined with there relatively new design makes it a good provider. It has the basic amount of features and suitable for the person who doesn’t spend live with there e-mail. It lets itself down with lack of Pop or Imap and its small storage space.
- Yahoo Mail – One feature that makes it a good competitor is the fact that you get unlimited storage space. The free version of this is quite basic with basic only e-mail available. Unfortunately you have to pay to get the ‘Advanced’ features which is quite a downer.
- GMX Mail - They have a unique feature, you can collate multiple e-mail address such as a Hotmail and/or Gmail into GMX and then send and receive e-mails from those accounts with those e-mail address. Another feature is that they allow you to send and receive e-mails up to 50MB in size.
- AOL Mail – With great features such as POP or IMAP and unlimited storage space its surprising that it’s not more well known. A rich user interface and excellent spam protection. Unfortunately what lets it down is the fact that it doesn’t thread messages and offers no labels or smart folders for organizing them.
Do you know of any other good e-mail service providers? Let us know in the comments!

Hello,
Language is the primary method of communication and for development we need to communicate and with everyone chatting away all around the world in different languages everyone needs to try and understand each other. To understand languages we can do one of two things, one, learn the other language or two, translate it into a language we can understand. With our new, great, technology we can translate virtually any language in to any other language with easy and increasing accuracy.
I translate stuff nearly daily, this ranges from blogs to school work.
The list here is not in any particular order. During my days surfing the net I have used all of them at some point but I tend to use ‘Google Language tools’ the most simply due to habit and it generally working very well.
