Facebook is the largest, most popular social networking site. It’s great, I go on it nearly very day to see how my friends are doing or what they are up to. But Facebook has it’s downsides to and some aspects are very annoying.
- Poking and Super Poking - Simply, why?
- Constant website layout changes – While they’re generally good improvements they are always changing it, stick one version for longer!
- Getting tagged in those big picture things – I really don’t care!
- It’s an online tabloid – The news feed is full of gossip, scandal and ‘interesting’ pictures.
- Lack of real relationship - Once introduced, don’t be one of those people who end up with square eyes commenting, tagging and posting on Facebook
- It’s useless – There is really no point to it all.
- It is really quite creepy – Everything you do, every move you make, someone is watching you.
- Freaky people who add you – How did they find you, why are they YOUR friend (why me)?
- They try too hard - Want to schedule an event, blog a little or join the mafia? You’ve got it on Facebook.
- To many choices - Don’t get me wrong I like choice, but some of the questions are a bit rich!

The technology available online is now so advanced that some of the online image editing websites are now more powerful than offline facilities. Here is a compilation of some of the really good ‘uns! My favs are in bold.
- Picnik- Picnik makes your photos fabulous with easy to use yet powerful editing tools. Tweak to your heart’s content, then get creative with oodles of effects, fonts, shapes, and frames.
- Snipshot- Snipshot is a fast online image editor. You can use it right from your browser, no downloads or Flash required.
- Online Image Editor- Free Online Image Editor, create your own animated gifs resize crop avatars and images.
- FlauntR- flauntR is a free online photo editor with photo editing features similar to photoshop.
- Image Mosaic Generator – Not really an image maker but upload your photo or image and it turns it into a mosaic of images from FlickR.
- SplashUp- Splashup is the only full-featured, free range, image editor online. The description from the website states that it is the only only fully-featured image editor. Umm, not sure about that.
- FotoFlexer - It can remove blemishes, change skin/hair colour, morph photos and more!
- LunaPic - Photo and paint effects. Great for Myspace, Facebook or bebo.
- Pixlr - is a free online photo editor. Edit, adjust and filter your images. No registration jump right in!
